I had to have a Family Council, last week, about our menu (and chores.) I had to bring on more help, in this menu department, because I just can't seem to focus on it. After all was said and done, Girlie goes to camp, this week.. so we may have to wing it, here and there..

Monday - Japanese Stew (Nikujaga) with beef, potatoes, carrots, onion.

Tuesday - Stuffed Bell Pepper Soup (Its supposed to be Taco Tuesday, but we didn't get to this, last week, and need to use what we have..)

Wednesday - Baked Spaghetti, Garlic Toast, Spinach Salad

Thursday - Black-Eyed Peas and Ham over brown rice. Sweet Pepper Corn Bread.

Friday - (pizza night) Calzones

Saturday - Burgers, Potato Salad, Baked Beans

Sunday - Baked Spaghetti, green salad with HM Ranch Dressing

I'll try to remember to take photos and add some recipes, this week.

Haven't Fallen off the Entire Face of the Earth, yet?

If I don't post, today, I will have missed the entire month of May! Ack!

I'm sorry blog-friends. Life has gotten in the way.

Between mourning, grieving, allergies, and fighting infections, I haven't spent much time in my own kitchen.

Add to this issues with passwords and photos.. and well, I can't seem to function.

I just found out that it may all be because of B Complex Vitamins..

so I have some hope!

I think.

Great way to Start your CVS Game Plan!

UPDATE: This deal did not work for me. My CVS had a "metal" hook, that was plastic, but appeared metal. The package did not say metal. That particular hook retailed over $6, too. It was not included in the sale, as were many of the Command 3M hooks. I will post a link, here, to my CVS trip, today, as soon as its up.

Surviving the Stores
Rachel, at Suviving The Stores, has given us a great heads-up to a CVS deal, that you can make money on, this week.

With the PDF Coupon, provided by 3m, themselves, you can add 6 - 3M Command Metal Hooks, on sale 2/$5, to your life, for FREE. Print out and redeem 6 individual coupons. (Save the PDF, if you plan to wait to print them, so if they disappear, you'll still have them!)

When you buy six, you've spent the minimum $15, required, to earn $5 in Extra Care Bucks [ECB's.]

Have you seen the price of aluminum foil, lately? I'm going to take advantage of the sale and use my $2.50 ECB.

Here's my plan..

I'm going to buy a bottle of Fructis Shampoo, for $2.99 (with $2 ECB,) with my Command Hooks. I'll redeem my $2.50 ECB and pay $.49 plus tax.

I'll get back $7 in ECB's, for that purchase. ($5 for the Command Hooks and $2 for the Shampoo.)

The Reynold's Aluminum Foil is on sale 2/$6. So, I can get the foil free and still spend another $1, on something else, too.

I'm going to avoid the entire aisle with the Dove Chocolate. I know its on sale. I also know they are trying to tempt me with ECB's. I can do this.

I will buy Crest Toothpaste, instead! It is on sale, with a toothbrush, for $1.99, with $1 in ECB's.

So, my second purchase will cost $1 and I'll get $1 in ECB's, too.

Free Hooks... Free Foil... Free Toothpaste.. Free Tooth Brush.. No Chocolate.. *giggle*
